Tina Wolfson is a founding member of Ahdoot Wolfson, a nationwide class action firm focusing on antitrust and consumer protection matters. 

During her 26-year class action litigation career, Tina has led numerous historic class actions, including, most recently: 

  • In re Google Digital Advertising Antitrust Litig., No. 21-md-03010  (S.D.N.Y.)  (pending antitrust class action alleging Google’s anticompetitive conduct and monopolization of the online digital ad market)
  • Klein, et al. v. Meta Platforms, Inc., No. 20-cv-08570  (N.D. Cal.)  (pending antitrust class action alleging anticompetitive conduct in the advertising market on Facebook’s social media platform)
  • Rivera, et al. v. Google LLC., No. 19-CH-00990  (Cook Cty. Ill.)  ($100 million settlement in BIPA class action arising from the alleged collection and storage of biometric face data in Google Photos; settlement included changes to Google’s biometric privacy practices for the benefit of class members)
  • In re Zoom Video Communications, Inc. Privacy Litig., No. 20-cv-02155  (N.D. Cal.)  ($85 million settlement in privacy class action arising from alleged collection of personal information through 3rd-party software and failure to provide end to end encryption; settlement included robust injunctive relief overhauled Zoom’s data collection and security practices)
  • In re Google Location History Litig., No. 18-cv-05062  (N.D. Cal.)  ($65 million settlement in privacy class action arising from alleged collection and storage of device location data even when users turned off “location history” setting; settlement required Google to notify and explain how certain features collect location information, along with instructions on how to disable those settings; injunctive relief also required Google to maintain a default automatic deletion policy for user location information)  

Tina also is an active member of the legal community and is dedicated to advancing the administration of justice. She has served as a Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference lawyer representative, as an elected member of the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference Executive Committee, and as an appointee of the Merit Selection Panel for the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, which is responsible for the selection and appointment of United States Magistrate Judges in the District.
