Watkins Insurance Group Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against Austin, Texas-based insurance agency Watkins Insurance Group following news that it suffered a data breach.
Watkins Insurance Group filed a notice of the data breach with certain state attorneys general on March 14, 2025, and public reporting confirms that information disclosed during the breach includes:
- names
- addresses
- Social Security numbers
- driver’s license numbers
- financial information
- medical information
- health insurance information
Watkins Insurance Group’s reported failure to protect sensitive information may violate state and federal laws, including privacy laws.
