Rite Aid Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against Philadelphia-based pharmacy Rite Aid relating to a data breach it suffered that exposed the sensitive information of approximately 2.2 million customers.

According to reports, the information impacted included purchaser name, address, date of birth and driver’s license number or other form of government-issued ID presented at the time of a purchase between June 6, 2017, and July 30, 2018. 

Rite Aid’s failure to protect sensitive personal and health information may violate consumer protection and data privacy laws.
