Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating reports that PayPal tracks internet browsers’ online shopping activities on a variety of different online storefronts. For example, consumers report receiving an email from PayPal with a subject like “Get $5.00 off at Adorama” or “Get $10.00 off Overstock.” These websites reportedly partner and have agreements that allow them to provide your information to PayPal and other third parties.
Online storefronts that share your information with PayPal may be violating consumer privacy laws. If you received a promotional email from PayPal or another third-party following online shopping, please contact our law firm by filling out the form below and one of our attorneys promptly will contact you.
