2020 and 2021 Kia Stinger Inaccurate Fuel Gauge Readings – Class Action Investigation
Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against automaker Kia relating to reports that model year 2020 and 2021 Kia Stinger vehicles are equipped with fuel gauges that provide inaccurate readings.
It has been reported that the fuel gauges in 2020 and 2021 Kia Stingers display that the vehicle’s gas tank is still half full or at a certain level, even though the gas tank is nearly or entirely empty. This issue could result in unsuspecting owners and lessees of impacted Kia Stingers running out of gas suddenly or unexpectedly.
Inaccurate fuel gauge readings present a highly unsafe driving scenario–this creates a risk of drivers being stranded or losing power mid-drive, risking the safety of vehicle owners and lessees, their passengers, and other motorists on the road.
If you own or lease a model year 2020 or 2021 Kia Stinger and have experienced inaccurate fuel gauge readings, please fill out the contact form below and one of the attorneys at Ahdoot Wolfson will promptly contact you.
